TIE(D) CONVERSATIONS

Part of a research project to explore what the influence of a garment can have on a person. A tie is a type of accessory to wear either as a fashion item or as part of a uniform. However, the colour, length and shape of a tie changes its impact and adds symbolic meaning to it.This experiment was done to play with a participant’s logic understanding of a tie and the fixed, solitude position it has in the fashion system and around one's neck.
