The development of this project incorporated various social design aspects where each garment
was co-designed with physically challenged patients. This led to an investigation of the fundamental
principles of ergonomics and how these pieces can enhance the psychological needs of an individual.
This collection was also made as an experiment to see how far the design solutions can be extended
visually, to be accepted by the target group as well as by other members of society.

Done in collaboration with the physically challenged and cancer patients of the Stellenbosch Hospice.
